with the Giro D’italia only a few weeks off and Lance not now riding…I was wandering if there are some keen cycling fans out there….

Not sure where you’re getting the information that Armstrong isn’t riding in the Giro, there has been no official press release suggesting he’s not riding.
In fact, all the news and rumors point towards him trying his hardest to be fit for the race. He had targeted a top 10 finish, which is now out of the question but there’s a very good chance he will be playing the domstique role he carried out so well for Levi Leipheimer in the Amgen Tour of California earlier in the year.
I’m guessing Contador or Leipheimer will now be the team leaders for the race.
But in answer to your question, don’t count Armstrong out until the day of the first stage!
